WHEN LOVE LEFT

All the butterflies in my belly were killed,
as all those words of hatred spilled.
Honey, you promised me a forever, but all those promises broke,
And so did your soft palms and gentle stroke.
In the beginning it felt as if I was on cloud nine,
But later my fairyland vanished and so did our romantic dines.
"we'll travel the world together", once were words you said,
now I lie down, crying, on my bed of roses, that are long dead.
I shivered, I trembled and I fell, when love left,
I stole your heart and now I'm paying well for my theft.
We left our kisses back on sixth street,
Tell me how to forget about our meets and greets?
The dairy is burnt, in which words of love were written,
The promises made and vows taken are too, long forbidden.
We talked, We met, We kissed, life was so clear,
But we sank in the ocean of ego and despair, who knew love would disappear?
Even today, a walk down the memory lane leaves me with tears,
I imagined a halo, but instead you came in with spears.
Every moment spent in your arms is precious to me,
They say to love someone is to set them free.
I still crave for your fragnace, the touch of your hand,
You took a part of me, as the waves take away the sand.
I would still wear your shirt, sit by our favourite couch and cry,
Because nothing seems alive, when love left, but I'd still say "thank you for stopping by"

I still go through our pictures once in a blue moon and wonder what went wrong? But this time I have answers.

SEPARATIONS

PRIVATE PARTS.
